Strokidz are a group located in Melbourne, Australia that was formed to provide support for children and families affected by stroke.
As a group we offer peer support on a personal, informative and social level.
Being parents of children that have suffered a brain injury we are all aware of the wide ranging effects and the medical conditions these children inherit, along with the emotional rollercoaster parents take in obtaining information about their child's diagnosis.
We exist to gather information and share experiences with interested families. We provide a network of contacts to services provided by government agencies. Social functions are organised to help families meet and share experiences.
